Jordy Dazz Previews Remix For Cash Cash’s “Take Me Home” | Big Beat Records
One of the most continuously amazing aspects of dance music is how artists always take advantage of the opportunities. At the beginning of 2013, Cash Cash was fresh off the release of their collaborative remix of Krewella‘s “Alive,” together with Kalkutta, to see it played three months later on one of the biggest stages in the world. Since then, they have hosted radio shows for Nicky Romero, remixed groups like Capital Cities, and now have landed a release on Chuckie‘s Big Beat Records. “Take Me Home” is a wonderful, inspiring progressive house track with a few electro influences sprinkled throughout. The track has had great support so far, and it has just been taking on by Dutch producer, Jordy Dazz.
The track’s magic begins during the intro, as Bebe Rexha‘s soulful vocals take over your ears. She finishes the verse as the intro culminates, and begins to belt the chorus over a futuristic synth, which builds with the addition of percussion under the repeated line of “Take Me Home”. As the chorus finishes up, the track begins to build with looped snares, and a rising pitch bend. A sudden brake effect brings the track together, as Jordy takes us all to another level with the high-octane, grinding-electro sound of this drop.
Remixes are scheduled for release on August 19. We will post about the other remixes in the coming days! For now, enjoy Jordy’s take on Cash Cash‘s masterpiece.
