Ken Loi, OSKAR, Kat Cobra Preview “The Wall” On Starbright Records
In dance music, the the number one, simplest way to get to the top is through production. This man is just using it to expand on his existing reputation. American DJ/producer/mashup extraordinaire Ken Loi is really starting to turn his focus on to his productions. Working along with OSKAR and Kat Cobra, the man who recently remixed “Sweet Nothing” with none other than Tiësto drops a powerful, progressive house track into our ears. “The Wall” will be the inaugural release on Ken‘s new record label, Starbright Records.
In this day and age, progressive house seems to be like a bit of a dying breed. However, Ken & crew are out to fight that conception. Kat Cobra begins to sing over a set of chords that sound similar to a futuristic guitar. The energy of the track begins to rise as Kat begins to enter into the chorus, the song begins to gain a slightly more rave-like sound. Once the vocals end, “The Wall” enters into its final approach before dropping. Soon, the snares begin to loop, and the pitches begin to bend up, until we are suddenly catapulted into progressive house euphoria.
“The Wall” will be out on August 12, bringing Starbright Records officially to life. Listen to the preview, and mark your calendar!
