Kaskade Debuts Songs From Atmosphere At Clevelander Pool Party
Kaskade came through the Cleavelander on Friday to spin at the Y-100 Mackapalooza pool party and treated the crowd to some new music from his Atmosphere album, set to be released on September 10th. This marks the tenth album for Ryan Raddon, who’s also a husband, father of three daughters and A&R for OM Records, but better known as American house and trance legend Kaskade.
Included in the set were his remix of Lana Del Ray’s “Young and Beautiful”, a sickening mashup of “Turn it Down” fused with Martin Garrix’s banger “Animals” and his collaboration with Swanky Tunes featuring Lights “No One Knows Who We Are”. Kaskade has been a force to be reckoned with since he first stepped on the scene over a decade ago, but he still somehow finds a way to stretch his creativity and elevate his level of production. Atmosphere contains 14 original tracks, some of which we’ve already been lucky enough to hear and if they’re any indication of how good the album is going to be, then the 10th can’t get here fast enough. The excitement in Kaskade’s voice when he demoed the chorus from the new track “Something Something” doesn’t help curb the anticipation.
