D-Wayne “Gravity” Available October 21 On Wall Recordings
Not a week goes by where a brand-new track is not premiered by either Pete Tong or Danny Howard, BBC Radio 1‘s main dance music DJ’s. This week proved to be no different, as the latest from young Dutch producer, D-Wayne, was picked up by Danny Howard as part of his weekly 3-hour Dance Anthems show. “Gravity” marks D-wayne’s fourth solo release on Afrojack‘s Wall Recordings, following up productions like “AMMO,” “Distance,” and a remix to “The Bottle Song”.
If you’re expecting a light track, then you’re looking at the wrong post. D-Wayne infuses “Gravity” to be full of energy, and keep people moving at all times. The lead consists of a standard piano, which builds into a full-fledge set of festival-anthem chords. Everyone’s favorite snare buildup brings the track hurdling towards the drop. Once the track does drop, it definitely does not disappoint. The track features razor sharp synths, which when combined with a pounding bassline, create a resoundingly banging track. You can tell that D-Wayne has been under Afrojack‘s tutelage, as the sounds of the drop in this track are very similar in structure to those of Mr. Van de Wall’s own productions.
“Gravity” will see its release on October 21, via Wall Recordings. Enjoy the radio rip for now!
