Mightyfools – Go [November 18 – Wall Recordings]

One of the most impressive duos of 2013 has to be the Mightyfools. They climbed from relative obscurity to releasing tracks on some of the biggest labels in the world, including Doorn Records, Revealed Recordings, and now Wall Recordings. They just released a free track in celebration of receiving 50,000 likes on their Facebook fan page, and they seem intent on gaining many more. They signed “Go” to Wall Recordings, with label boss Afrojack touting the track as an “awesome record”. The list of support for this track seems endless, and further supports the hypothesis that Mightyfools are going straight to the top.

After first surfacing in early September, “Go” is becoming more and more popular in many DJ sets. You can hear the incredible energy of the track right from the beginning of the melody. It just keeps on growing as a track builds toward another signature Mightyfools drop. A few snare hits and, of course, a “GO!” sample leads you straight in to some high-octane madness. The drop is made up of one of the most wild since I’ve ever heard in my career as a music writer combined with a powerful bassline that only the Mightyfools can provide.

“Go” has received support from some huge names, including Hardwell, Porter Robinson, Knife Party, and many more. Be prepared to grab this track when it comes out on November 18! You can tell the Mightyfools guys have been working really hard to pump out new music, and it’s definitely paying off. For now, enjoy the preview!
