Showtek & Justin Prime feat. Matthew Koma – Cannonball (Earthquake) [March 16 – Spinnin’ Records]

It seems as though the vocal mix is becoming one of the most popular ways to ensure your track never becomes irrelevant. Some have worked, some just crash and burn, but I think Showtek and Justin Prime are going to add their track to the list of success stories. They got back in the studio together to resurrect “Cannonball” together with Matthew Koma, the vocalist who just worked with Hardwell on “Dare You”. The rebirth of “Cannonball” is quite similar to the original, and goes under the name “Earthquake”. Even though the original was released on Musical Freedom, the vocal mix will be released on Spinnin’ Records.

If you liked the original mix of “Cannonball,” then “Earthquake” will find its spot in your library immediately. Matthew Koma‘s top-line fits perfectly over the original melody, and really brings the party vibe to life once again.
