Carlo Calabro – Cereal Killer [March 17 – In Charge/Be Yourself Music]

We’ve always been able to rely on Marco V and his In Charge imprint for solid dance music tracks. The next track to come through the label is from Poland native Carlo Calabro. He has finally gained some exposure to the world, after self-releasing a few tracks on Beatport. He’s dabbled back and forth between progressive house, electro house, and some trance. He settled on a combination of electro house and tech house for “Cereal Killer,” which will be out on March 17 through In Charge/Be Yourself Music.

Right off the bat, you can hear the trance influences in Carlo Calabro‘s sound, especially in the break between the first and second bars of the first climax. As the track heads into the break, the trance melody comes back to prominence. Over time, this trance sound gives way to a rather crunchy lead as the second climax approaches. A tech house vibe provides the basis, and trance-style synth stabs make up a sound that will definitely get your body moving.
