Event Recap: Crazy Sexy Cool Festival – July 20, Rotterdam

The festival season is in full effect and all around the world people go absolutely nuts thanks to sets by the biggest producers. On the 20th of July, Rotterdam was the host of a brand new festival, Crazy Sexy Cool Festival. We attended the event and will bring you all the details!

Location
It was the first edition of this festival, but they surely thought about the location well. It took place right next to the sea that made Rotterdam famous in the past. They didn’t place the festival in the center of the city and I think that was a good plan. Rotterdam is one of the capitals when it comes to EDM in The Netherlands, so it seems to be a perfect spot for a big festival!

Line Up
We can’t say that the organisation went for a slow start. Sidney Samson, Shermanology, Jay Hardway, The Partysquad, Gregor Salto & Apster are just a few of the big names that played a set. The lineup was very varied and combined Eclectic, Latin, Tech, Trap, EDM and more. Every DJ partied with the crowd and even though we heard many similar tracks, we weren’t bored for even a single second! We’re curious if the organisation can keep up with this in a possible future event.

Organisation
With a big event like this, it’s important to have everything arranged in the right way, luckily they took care took care of this perfecly. There was more than enough food and drinks, there was enough security in case things would go wrong and they did their best to make every visitors enjoy their evening. During the night we have seen zero problems and thanks to the organisation everyone had a very good time. Besides that, they also took care of enough supporting entertainment, as described in the picture below.

Audience
The good weather (in the beginning, unfortunately it did rain for a short moment), the big lineup, the variety and all the entertainment made the people have a very good time. Of course, it’s almost impossible for everyone to party fulltime, but at least a big part of the audience did go out of their mind during the whole day. Okay, we have to admit, especially in the beginning of the event we weren’t that positive. The stage was never full, but maybe that also made sure everyone could go mad without any problems or hesitations. And going mad, that’s what they did!

Conclusion
What do you get when you combine a nice spot right next to the sea with a very strong and varied lineup, a perfect organisation and a highly motivated audience? You might already guessed the right answer; a perfect night. We couldn’t find any negative details and had a blast from the first second we arrived. We want to thank TRW Events for giving us the possibility to visit this event; we didn’t want to miss it!
