Alvaro – The Underground (Riggi & Piros Remix) [October 13 – Spinnin’ Records]
Somewhere along the line, we lost Carnage. As an official remix of “The Underground” comes closer and closer to reality, most people are wondering what happened to Carnage in the title line. Luckily for fans worldwide, Alvaro is still in the mix, and we can bring you an official remix from American duo Riggi & Piros. These guys have released plenty of big tunes through Steve Aoki‘s Dim Mak Records label, and now bring their banging big room sound the world’s biggest label, Spinnin’ Records. The original mix basked in it’s success for 28 days in the Beatport overall Top 100, and peaked at #4 in dance music’s most important chart. Now, this main room smasher has been remixed by none other than Riggi & Piros, and is ready for a rebirth that will blow the minds of DJs and festivalgoers everywhere, starting on October 13.
For their age, Riggi & Piros are well ahead of their time in terms of their production ability. Luckily, their task has been made a lot easier by the fantastic and powerful melody that Alvaro crafted while producing the original version of the song. The Americans are able to utilize the majority of this huge melody, to provide their own twist to the sound by throwing in a couple of pitch bends underneath both of the melody and the vocal chorus from the original. Once the buildup begins, the vocals will be the only part that the casual listener will recognize, as Riggi & Piros take over the production from there. They bring a fantastic big room drop to the table, employing a thick saw synth on the first two beats, while the last four play out an energetic scale.
Be sure to grab this absolutely massive remakes from the American duo Riggi & Piros when it drops on October 13 through Spinnin’ Records. Enjoy!
