Headhunterz – Once Again [February 16 – Revealed Recordings]
Headhunterz has shown that he is capable of producing big tracks with a BPM slower than 150. The Dutch hardstyle pioneer recently teamed up with Hardwell for a progressive house track called “Nothing Can Hold Us Down,” and he continues his house push with “Once Again”. The rumors originally had the track as a collaboration with Martin Garrix, but it will be a solo track, and Headhunterz‘s first appearance on the label since he remixed “Spaceman” in 2012. This track has been appearing in sets since September of 2014, and will be fully available for purchase on February 16.
The breakdown begins with a relaxed vibe, as the sound is relatively calm when compared other Headhunterz productions. The melody is slightly audible in the background, but is heavily filtered to create suspense. As it progresses onward, the filter is lifted, and the full melody shows its muscle. The melody combines the best in hardstyle and progressive house with screaming synths and powerful melodies working their magic. The bassline is definitely worth mentioning as well since that will definitely rock your subwoofer. After a quick vocal sample, a hardstyle lead and a massive bass kick leads “Once Again” to its status as a banger that Headhunterz should be quite proud of.
Grab “Once Again” when it drops via Revealed Recordings on February 16.
