Hardwell & Armin van Buuren – Off The Hook [Revealed Recordings]

The hype on this tune goes without saying. The two men who have traded the #1 spot on the DJ Mag Top 100 in the past years, Hardwell and Armin van Buuren, have put their difference in genres aside for a massive tune titled “Off The Hook”. The track has been in high demand since its debut at Ultra Music Festival way back in March, but is definitely well worth the wait. The blueprint of the track is progressive house, but there are plenty of trance influences infused throughout the run of the track. There is plenty of influence from both artists, though, as the melody harkens back to “Ping Pong,” but adds a whole new level of energy with a shifting tempo. The drop rocks a pulsating bassline and a slightly manipulated version of the breakdown’s chord progression serving as the lead. “Off The Hook” has been an absolutely fire tune during the peaktime for both Hardwell and Armin van Buuren, and will be played out to great success by DJs everywhere for weeks to come.
