Changing of the Guard: DJ Mag Top 100 2015 Results

After two years highlighted by Dutch superstar Hardwell at the top of the vaunted DJ Mag Top 100 list, there is a new name on top. There are two new names, in fact, as the new #1 DJ’s in the world are none other than Belgian duo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Those guys just switched places with Hardwell, who fell one spot to #2 in the 2015 poll. This year’s highest new entry was definitely well-deserved, as it went to KSHMR in the #23 slot. The biggest climber was Don Diablo, who climbed 52 spots from #82 to #30, while the biggest drop goes to Knife Party, who slid 47 spots from #53 to #100.

This year’s poll was also mired with controversy, as artists all over the place called out Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike for harassing people into voting with their iPad street team. Of course, the poll had another edition of “Who the hell is that?” at certain places since there were some entries with a very low social media following.
