ADE Recap – Doorn Records Label Night @ Escape [14-10]

Most of the hangovers are cured, fans are back at work again and it seems like nothing happened. ADE ended last Sunday, but is still a very bright memory in our heads. 5 days of partying, networking, learning and meeting up with people you haven’t seen for to long. We start our recap with the first event, Doorn Records Label Night.

Location
Escape is one of Amsterdam’s finest clubs and people from all over the country come to Amsterdam just to party there. The club has been the host for some of the biggest events and it opened ADE with a big bang. The dancefloor is big enough and you can get really close to the stage so you can connect with the DJ easier. It is full of elegance and style is an important element in this legendary club.

Line Up
Sander van Doorn invited some of the finest artists that released productions on his label. MOTi, Joe Stone, Pep & Rash, Firebeatz, Sander van Doorn himself and Gregor Salto played their tracks with increasing power. Things especially went loose after Firebeatz hit the stage and they managed to tear the place up with style. Their original hits combined with other massive productions made the people go wild. Sander van Doorn showed his quality once again by dropping banger after banger and at the end Gregor Salto closed the party with a Latin-House-set.

Organisation
The fact that the stage was so reachable is a compliment for the organisation. Last year, when Garrix hosted his event here, the stage stood a meter or so above the crowd. Also, there were zero incidents during the night and everything went flawless. It all sounds so easy and normal, but it is hard to manage this with a full dancefloor and visitors from all over the world. So, our compliments for the organisation!

Audience
Even though the dancefloor was packed, it didn’t result in aggressive behavior or incidents. The vibe was positive and people went really hard all night. We saw many arms in the air, people going bananas, smiles and impressive dancemoves. You can consider this as a compliment for the DJ’s or the organisation, but you must not forget the visitors. They can make or break the event and in this case they definitely made it!

Conclusion
Considering all the important elements, there can be only one conclusion. This was, for us, one of the best parties we attended and that on the first night… We would like to thank Media Nanny, Doorn Records, Escape and the audience, they made us have a very good time all night!
