Curbi – 51 [February 22 – Spinnin’ Records]

I never get tired of hearing Curbi‘s music. The young producer is already one of Spinnin’ Records most prominent young talents. His new song, “51” is slated to be released on February 22nd. His remixes and originals alike have such a unique sound that I’m a huge fan of.

The one drawback to “51” is how dragged out the buildup. But even then, the buildup adds a different feel to the track and really makes you anxious to get to the drop. The melody in the preview has somewhat of a progressive house feel with small future house aspects. But the sounds used in the buildup definitely get rid of the progressive house vibe. Now the drop is classic Curbi. It’s got that all over the place style he’s known for. It’s also incredibly heavy which is, again, something he does to perfection.
