Matisse & Sadko feat. TITUS – Get Busy [Doorn Records]

A few years back, Matisse & Sadko were the kings of progressive house. They created a sound that galvanized the Russian house industry, with countless other artists trying to emulate their sound and success. Their past few releases have seen their sound evolve, and now their tunes are bigger than ever. “Lock ‘N’ Load” was a massive instrumental track that took over last summer, and “Get Busy” feels like a proper follow up. They brought in vocalist TITUS, and the track they created is a bass house masterpiece. The vocals have a smoothness to them, and a sweet auto-tuned really brings them all together. What’s unique about “Get Busy” is the lack of buildup.  The track actually goes straight from the breakdown into drop, and does so with an incredible jolt of energy. The lines between bass house and electro house are entirely blurred in the drop, bringing that sharp top line together with a merciless bassline. This may not be the Matisse & Sadko of old, but this record indicates their talent for production outside of progressive house. Expect to hear this one blasting on mainstages worldwide very soon.
