The Chainsmokers feat. Rozes – Roses (Uberjak’d & Dimatik Revibe)
It’s obvious that the guys down under know how to put together a fantastic remix. This time, a top 40 anthem in the form of The Chainsmokers‘ “Roses” gets a wonderful progressive house revibe from two highly underrated names. Those would be Uberjak’d and Dimatik, and they turn this record into a completely different animal. These guys play with the tempo in the breakdown, starting it off around the original speed and even including a moombahton style drop in the beginning. The tempo then picks up as the vocals from Rozes are left largely unaltered. The house drops bring an energetic progressive house feeling that keeps some of the original’s magic, but also manages to invent its own. Uberjak’d and Dimatik made sure to keep little clips of the vocals in during the drop, which is in clear tribute to the original mix. The vibes really come out on the second drop, as there are less vocals and more uninterrupted progressive house bliss.
