Skrillex & Diplo’s Jack Ü Debut Album Certified Gold by RIAA

What a year it was for Skrillex and Diplo‘s Jack Ü project. Their debut album, Skrillex & Diplo Present Jack Ü, has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.
The certification is certainly not the first accolade for the album. They took home two Grammy awards for Best Dance/Electronica Album and Best Dance Recording (“Where Are Ü Now” w/ Justin Bieber). The album also finished the year at No. 5 on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart in 2015.
The gold certification means that the album sold over 500,000 units in the United States. The album had already been certified gold in Denmark for selling over 10,000 units.
