Axwell Λ Ingrosso Squash Swedish House Mafia 2017 Reunion Rumors

Fans of Swedish House Mafia got their hopes up yesterday when high-profile YouTube channel Proximity posted this:

The trio broke up in 2013 after touring the world for One Last Tour. There have been on and off rumors about them reconnecting, but nothing concrete. This post by Proximity seemed to be the best possible news. They have a good reputation in the industry, as well as strong connections.
However, it was simply not to be. Two of the three former members, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, still produce and perform together as a duo. Their PR team sent out a statement to a few different outlets, effectively shutting the rumors down.
“At this point we’re not planning on reuniting and we have really no further comments on what the future for SHM looks like,” they wrote.
So far, there have been no comments from the third former member, Steve Angello.
On the bright side, they never ruled out an eventual reunion. We’ll just have to wait and see!
