Sander van Doorn & Chocolate Puma – Raise Your Hands Up [Musical Freedom]

“Raise Your Hands Up” is the result of two industry veterans combining skills and experience together.

Sander van Doorn and Chocolate Puma have been constants in the industry for many years. Their track was a big tune for DJs during Miami Music Week in March, and has a home now on Tiësto‘s Musical Freedom. Since then, it also received tons of radio spins from big-time names.

I think the best way to describe “Raise Your Hands Up” is “house with an edge”. The track has plenty of the hallmarks of a typical house song, but is a bit heavier. However, it’s not aggressive enough to fall into the category of electro. It has a very consistent groove to it, which lives through the grinding main synth and catchy percussion. The middle breakdown is carried with the “Raise Your Hands Up” vocal that is highly popular in DJ live edits. Sander van Doorn and Chocolate Puma then build the track back into another powerful drop section, energized once more by electrifying synths.
