Hardwell feat. Craig David – No Holding Back (incl. Henry Fong Remix) [Revealed Recordings]

Two legends from two countries come together for a tune titled “No Holding Back”.

This tune unites the production talents of Dutchman Hardwell alongside the vocal prowess of Brit Craig David. The release also includes a remix from American Henry Fong. Craig David joined Hardwell onstage during his Day Two-closing set at Ultra Miami to perform the track live. This is not Hardwell‘s first foray into the pop realm, as he produced “Follow Me” with Jason Derulo on his United We Are album. Craig David is also fresh off recent collaborations with Major Lazer/Katy B, Big Narstie and Kaytranada.

Craig David easily shows off his skills with a dextrous topline. His vocals perfectly illustrate how he garnered so much success with previous garage-style tracks. Hardwell brings a garage pattern in the instrumental, powered by a driving bassline and mellowed-out synth choices. Hardwell‘s house aptitude pairs excellently with the smooth vocals of Craig David.

The Henry Fong remix brings a little more edginess to “No Holding Back”. The vocals maintain their sweet sound, but join forces with more aggressive bass house synths. Henry Fong has shown off this sound before, and brings this new single the high-octane remix it deserves.
