Alesso (co-prod. Dillon Francis) – Take My Breath Away [Alefune]

After months of online teasing, the Alesso and Dillon Francis collaboration “Take My Breath Away” has landed.

The track got its first play earlier this summer when Alesso rocked the Summerburst festival in his native country of Sweden. Each artist spun the track, but the official release goes simply under Alesso‘s name. Neither artist has given the reason, but Dillon Francis‘ co-production contributions are certainly audible.

“Take My Breath Away” sits perfectly in the wheelhouse for both artists. Starting off with a chilled-out instrumental, stunning vocals take centerstage. A hip-hop style bassline brings in a more dynamic sound, and drastically increases the intensity. Immediately following the chorus, the Dillon Francis sound takes over. A thick and flowing sub-bass synth joins forces with perfectly chopped vocals  for the perfect vibe. Both artists’ sounds shine through, and “Take My Breath Away” will certainly end up on repeat in your iTunes or Spotify playlists.
