David Keno – Turn It Up EP [Toolroom]

David Keno returns to Toolroom with this impressive follow up to ‘Debbie Rowe’ which hit the digital shelves earlier this year. The track went on to be a firm favorite in a multitude of DJ’s playlists and this is looking set to follow in it’s footsteps. Keno’s recent output has been hugely impressive and with a DJ schedule to match his studio efforts, it’s easy to see why 2017 has been a key and rewarding year for this exciting artist. His brand new collab with fellow Toolroom funkateers Mat.Joe lands on Relief in a matter of days and his Mother Recordings EP is still riding high in the Beatport charts. Musically these tracks are hugely on point. ‘Turn It Up‘ makes use of a great vocal over a funky, infectious groove whilst the flip ‘You High Yet‘ takes a bit more of a wonky and mischievous path and to great effect! Both are superb DJ tools that rock a dance floor and maintain that fun element throughout. A triumphant return to the label for David Keno and an essential EP!
