Broadwick Live Presents Magazine Open-Air
London, UK – Summer 2026 – Broadwick Live, the team behind Printworks, Drumsheds and Silverworks Island, announces Magazine Open—Air: a new outdoor, festival-scale venue launching on Greenwich Peninsula this August.
Unfolding across six dates in a never-before-used riverside location, the inaugural series features Our House w/ Maduza & James Hype, Josh Baker b2b Max Dean, 15 Years: The Soulection Experience, Amelie Lens b2b Sara Landry and Purple Disco Machine and more TBA. Each show is conceived as a standalone moment, set against the city skyline where sound, space and setting intersect.
Framed by London’s architectural horizon, Open—Air is conceived as a roofless dancefloor shaped by bold structural interventions and open sky. A space defined by the cityscape as it shifts from sunny days to illuminated nights. From industry-leading sound and unique production, to carefully considered flow and audience movement, every element has been designed to establish a new benchmark for outdoor music in the capital.
The series launches on Friday 14 August with Our House, led by Meduza and James Hype. Known for delivering house music with clarity and impact, Meduza’s expansive productions combine with Hype’s tightly engineered mixing for an opening statement that establishes the scale and intent of Open—Air from day one.
On Saturday 15 August, Josh Baker and Max Dean make their b2b London debut. Two defining forces in UK tech house, Baker’s groove-led Hide&Seek sensibility converges with Dean’s high-impact neXup energy for an extended session shaped by scale, structure and the interplay between sound and skyline.
15 Years: The Soulection Experience arrives on Sunday 16 August, marking a milestone for the globally influential collective. Over the past decade and a half, Soulection has evolved as both a cultural movement and a sonic identity, defined by future-facing R&B, hip-hop and soulful electronic music. At Open—Air, that dialogue between movement and environment takes on new dimensions, with the riverside setting across two spaces at the peak of summer reinforcing the collective’s focus on warmth, rhythm and community.
On Friday 21 August, Amelie Lens and Sara Landry bring a European debut of their back-to-back show to Open—Air. A defining figure in contemporary techno, Lens’ uncompromising vision and global EXHALE movement meet Landry’s deeply feminine, industrial intensity for a set rooted in precision and power. Within the Open—Air setting, their combined energy reconfigures the space through sound as Open—Air becomes the sonic canvas for two of techno’s most influential figures.
On Saturday 22 August, Purple Disco Machine brings his refined fusion of disco warmth and contemporary house to Open—Air. With a sunshine-fuelled sound that’s perfect for peak-summer sets, this promises to be a day of rhythm, movement and dancefloor euphoria. The series will conclude on Sunday 23 August. Details of the finale will be released in the coming months.
Luke Huxham, Managing Director at Broadwick Live, said: “We’ve been excited about the potential of this project for some time. Built on a foundation of unique programming, ambitious production, and obsessive attention to detail, Open—Air sits on the bank of the River Thames at Greenwich Peninsula, bringing people closer to London’s iconic skyline than ever before. Today, people want layered experiences with high production value and thoughtful curation. Open—Air is our answer to that. The stage and site have been designed to show London from a completely new perspective, delivering something truly unique for both our guests and artists.”
