Vintage Culture, OMRI. – I Need It [AFFAIRS]
Vintage Culture teams up with rising electronic talent OMRI. for their new collaboration, the ‘I Need It’ EP – a two-track package of groove-driven tech house cuts. The EP features the title track ‘I Need It’ alongside ‘Rock The Beat’, arriving at a key moment as Vintage Culture heads into Ultra Music Festival during Miami Music Week. Built around a rolling bassline and driving kick, the EP’s title track, ‘I Need It’, captures the tension of a packed club at full momentum. A hypnotic female vocal repeating the phrase “I Need It” runs throughout the track, mirroring the energy of a crowd locked into the moment. Direct and groove-driven, the production balances tension and release while maintaining a firm tech house pulse. The second track, ‘Rock The Beat’, leans further into peak-time territory, powered by a punchy kick that completes the EP’s club-focused sound.
The collaboration highlights a natural synergy between Vintage Culture and OMRI., combining Vintage Culture’s polished club sensibility with OMRI.’s approach shaped by underground venues and festival stages alike. Built for late-night dancefloors, the EP arrives via Vintage Culture’s own imprint, Affairs. The release also lands during a significant moment for Vintage Culture. Following his appearance at Ultra Music Festival during Miami Music Week, he heads into a milestone this summer with his residency at Pacha Ibiza. Across four Tuesdays in June, the Brazilian artist will take over the iconic venue for his first official residency at the legendary club. ‘I Need It’ continues Vintage Culture’s run of club-ready releases, reflecting an artist equally at home on festival main stages and intimate dancefloors.
