Hidden Empire – Disco Future Rave / Switch It Up [Truesoul]

Sublime electronic act and DJ duo Hidden Empire debut on Truesoul. The German pair has been refining their craft since 2015, regulars on Stil vor Talent, home to well-received albums ‘Mind Palace’ and ‘Lost Spirits’. Elsewhere they’ve dropped heat on imprints including Suara, Trapez and Filth on Acid.

Their sound scribbles outside the borders off traditional techno/house hybrid acts, spanning everything from muscular EBM, to stadium sized electronica. They’re deft acts at crafting laser-focused rollers, too. ‘Disco Future Rave’ begins as a crushing electro jam before building into an expansive peak-time thriller. ‘Switch it Up’ has bags of sass, marked by a catchy riff, punchy bottom end and plenty of gritty drums. A cut fit for both festival and club outings.
