KOKO Electronic Announces Autumn/Winter Schedule: Michael Bibi, Marco Carola, Chris Stassy, HS82 + More
Today, KOKO Electronic announces its AW26 season, with Michael Bibi, WhoMadeWho, Francis Mercier, Marco Carola, Chris Stassy, DESIREE, Shanti Celeste, Femi Koleoso and more, heading to the majestic theatre to keep London dancing under its giant disco ball through the long winter nights.
This season, as part of KOKO’s 125 year anniversary, KOKO Electronic launches with a new film directed by Eoin Glaister and produced by Stink UK, as part of a tongue-in-cheek campaign centred on a fictional kebab shop depicting music fans through the eras and a beleaguered shop owner. Cryptic menu-style flyposters have appeared across London carrying a mystery mobile number that reveals clues as to which artists will be heading to Camden. After several days of teasing out the ingredients, today’s full reveal serves up a hefty portion of electronic music with Stink’s distinctly irreverent London sensibility.
With the full line up finally revealed, a considered programme brings together house and techno heavyweights, cult selectors, live electronic acts and some of London’s most exciting dancefloor communities, with a few unexpected extras on the side.
KOKO Electronic continues to place the DJ at the centre of one of London’s most distinctive music spaces, with artists performing in the round from the heart of Victorian the theatre, surrounded by the crowd across multiple levels. Together with the House of KOKO situated backstage, where DJs can perform in a multitude of intimate spaces, create music and host lock ins in its new Penthouse recording studio, curate supper clubs and host talks, KOKO is solidifying its reputation as one of the most innovative and unique music spaces in the world.
The season gets underway with DESIREE, Benji B and Charisse C in the Theatre on 26th September, before October opens with Chicago house pioneer Green Velvet, joined by Ruze and Fifi Forte, on 2nd October. Across the month, Oscar Mbo, Swimming Paul and Hernán Cattáneo join a wide-ranging run of selectors, before Michael Bibi makes his debut on 17th October.
Shanti Celeste then leads an exciting full KOKO takeover on 24th October spanning both the Theatre and The House of KOKO. Shanti Celeste, Leon Vynehall and Danielle perform in the main Theatre, while Peach Discs hosts Room 2. Backstage in The House of KOKO, Milly On Air presents a special podcast talk show, Saffron hosts a workshop with Daisy Moon, and Black Artist Database (B.A.D) presents free music production masterclasses with NIKS, rRoxymore and Mason Maynard, adding conversation, participation and backstage community to the main event. Tickets for The House of KOKO activity will be available via a ballot.
November sees Francis Mercier host a three-show Theatre takeover across 20th–22nd November, extending beyond the dancefloor with a Soley FC vs KOKO FC football match in Hackney Wick, pitting Mercier’s own team against KOKO’s. More info will come soon on tickets to watch the match. WhoMadeWho then take over KOKO for a full weekender on 27th and 28th November. Across two nights, the Danish trio will showcase the full spectrum of their sound, bringing their acclaimed live show to The Theatre before returning for a hybrid DJ set, offering two distinct WhoMadeWho experiences across one weekend. Keep an eye out for further activations backstage at The House of KOKO which will encompass fashion, food and intimate live music showcases.
December adds some extra spice as Chris Stassy returns on 4th December, before Ezra Collective drummer Femi Koleoso brings Situation Dance back to KOKO on 20th December for a community-led Christmas party. With free and £5 tickets keeping the celebration accessible, the event puts community at the heart of the dancefloor and offers a welcome alternative to the usual festive-season blowout.
From there, KOKO shifts into a run of special shows spanning Christmas and New Year. Marco Carola lands for a two day takeover, first with Sosa on Boxing Day before returning on 27th December for a second night. On New Year’s Eve, Artwork leads a line-up featuring Make A Dance, David Bay, Arnie Wrong and Sue Veneers, bringing his irreverent, party-first spirit to the final dancefloor of 2026.
There’s little time for recovery. New Year’s Day picks things straight back up with Z UNCUT taking over KOKO for a special daytime session, before East End Dubs and Ryan Nicholls step in that evening, kicking off 2027 with two very different sides of KOKO Electronic.
The AW26 programme arrives during KOKO’s 125th anniversary year, celebrating a venue that has continually evolved alongside London’s culture since first opening as the Camden Theatre in 1900. Following its £70 million transformation in 2022, KOKO today brings more than a century of live music history together with a forward-looking approach to sound, production and the club experience.
KOKO Electronic builds on that legacy for a new generation of dancefloors. From the theatre’s intimate in-the-round DJ setup to its 1,500-capacity crowd, the series brings the energy and connection of a club into one of the capital’s most beautiful and historic music venues, creating a warm and welcoming home for electronic music throughout the winter months.
