Labyrinth Events: BICEP Live Confirmed as First Act for 2027 Series @ Old Royal Naval College
Labyrinth on the Thames today announces BICEP as the first act for its 2027 series, with the Belfast-born, London-based duo bringing their acclaimed BICEP LIVE show to the beautiful and historic riverside setting of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich on Saturday 31 July 2027. The announcement follows Labyrinth’s biggest summer at the venue, which welcomed 76,000 attendees across eight sold-out dates in 2026, and kicks off the third edition of the series at the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Greenwich date is one of the first two brand new BICEP LIVE shows announced for 2027, alongside New York’s Knockdown Center on 20 March. It follows the return of BICEP LIVE after a three-year hiatus, with a sold-out show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 26 November 2026, and marks the duo’s first major London show in support of their highly-anticipated third studio album.
The album, ‘SLUG’, drops on 29 January 2027, spanning rave, breakbeat, vocal-led material and ambient soundscapes; it is BICEP’s first album in six years, since 2021’s ‘Isles’, which reached #2 on the UK Albums Chart and earned the duo multiple BRIT Award nominations.
Speaking on the album, BICEP said, “For this album we really wanted to massively broaden what we do. It felt like a new start for us. We wanted to make a much more varied album than our previous ones and push what people might expect BICEP to sound like. We just wanted an album full of surprises and contrast.”
BICEP land in Greenwich off the back of a landmark few years. Their CHROMA compilation and accompanying AV tour saw the duo play to over half a million people worldwide. Now, they bring a brand new BICEP LIVE show to one of the capital’s most spectacular settings, for their only London headline show of 2027. This will be London’s first chance to hear music from the new album performed live since its release, with tracks reworked for the stage alongside favourites from across their catalogue. Fans can expect a full audio-visual production spectacle built around the new record, as the sun sets over the Thames skyline.
The multi-award nominated 2026 series saw Labyrinth on the Thames stage 47 artists across more than 70 hours of live music, with highlights including Moby, The Kooks, Peggy Gou, Dom Dolla, Overmono and Michael Bibi. Alongside the music, the series raised over £40,000 for its official charity partner the Community Hospice and generated more than 3,000 donations for food banks across the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Nick Castleman and Michael Dicks, co-founders of Labyrinth Events said, “We have been listening to BICEP almost obsessively from our earliest days in dance music and they have been an inspiration to us – they’ve constantly pushed the boundaries of Live electronic shows. BICEP’s live show is one of the best out there, putting it in front of the venue’s iconic twin domes and with the sun going down over the river is exactly the kind of thing we started Labyrinth to do. This will be a bucket list moment for us and we cannot wait to see this show come to life.”
Further artists for Labyrinth on the Thames 2027 will be announced over the next few months. Presale: Thursday 29 October 2026, 10am. General sale: Friday 30 October 2026, 10am. Register for presale access at https://www.bicepmusic.com/london2027/
