The Chainsmokers – Paris [DISRUPTOR RECORDS]

Alex & Drew of The Chainsmokers have finally released their follow up single to “Closer” (which, by the way, just hit one billion views on YouTube), “Paris”.

“Paris,” begins with an eery chord progression, a punchy kick drum, and what is now a signature, über-catchy Drew Taggart lyric, ‘We were stayin’ in Paris”. The song does not interrupt the recent pop-electro pattern Alex & Drew have been following. The track culminates in an epic drop that sounds very similar to the third drop in “Waterbed” with quick piano loops and tight snares.

Expect The Chainsmokers to continue to release a few more singles in the early part of 2017. However, something tells me a more extensive TCS work is on the burner, and I believe we just might have a Chainsmokers album by year’s end.
