Zedd feat. Hayley Williams – Stay The Night (Nicky Romero Remix) [Coming Soon | Interscope Records]

Before introducing incredibly special guest Fedde le Grand, Nicky Romero closed off the first part of his Protocol Recordings Label Night ADE event by debuting his latest remix project. The pioneer Dutch producer/DJ/plug-in developer finally unleashed the first play of his remix to Zedd and Hayley Williams‘s collaboration, “Stay The Night”. Other DJ’s are expected to announce their remixes very soon, and we have already posted about DJ Snake‘s remix.

Mr. Romero keeps the original vocals and the piano base melody, and creates his own unique environment using simple percussion.As the chorus finishes, the track immediately heads into a build up, made up of pitch bends and snare rolls. After Hayley Williams belts out that famous line, “Are you gonna stay the night?” once more, the track drops into a beautiful and melodic drop, which is a style that we have not heard from Nicky Romero since he dropped “Like Home” together with the NERVO girls. The overall sound of the drop compliments the vocals very well, and makes this a fantastic remix.
