Zedd ft. Hayley Williams – Stay The Night (Zedd & Kevin Drew Remix) [January 7 – Interscope Records]

Now, I know what you’re thinking. How can Zedd be remixing his own track? I don’t really mind that he’s giving his second progressive anthem of the year a more hardcore rework, together with Kevin Drew. As I’m sure you know by now, “Stay The Night” in its original version was ridiculously popular amongst DJs and radio stations alike, garnering thousands of plays over the few months it has been released to the world. Now with remixes from Henry Fong, Nicky Romero, and MERCER tearing up the dance floor as well, there is one more being added to the madness.

The two producers completely remade the break, crafting a brand new instrumental section to compliment the incredibly powerful vocals from Hayley Williams. The build in this version feels more original and dynamic, and provides more hype leading up to the brand new drop. If you missed the wild complextro sound of Zedd, you’re in luck, and you’ve got Kevin Drew to thank for it. Together, they brought back Zedd‘s powerful old sound, and did so without ruining a beautiful song.

This powerful rework will drop on its own on January 7 on Beatport. This might just be the best remix I have heard of this track, so it will definitely be worth your money. Until it drops, enjoy this short but sweet preview!
