Crystal Lake – Say Goodbye (Headhunterz Edit) [Doorn Records]

Ever since making his transition from hardstyle, Dutchman Headhunterz has only been doing great things for the big-room house scene. He is more than familiar with the work of Crystal Lake, as they have collaborated in the past. Crystal Lake is making a big return to Doorn Records, once again with editing help from Headhunterz. “Say Goodbye” shows how well both Crystal Lake and Headhunterz have adapted to big-room, and builds off the success of “Into The Sunset”. The same formula of their previous work together, where the track is centered around a powerful vocal and dynamic chord progression. That vocal highlights the breakdown, before the producers push the track to erupt into a creative melody. The synth choices in that segment show the influences of their previous hardstyle productions, and underscores how well that experience translates into their current work. The drop has a strong melodic quality to it, but still has the edge that makes it very energetic. As it all comes together, Crystal Lake and Headhunterz have crafted yet another hit to be proud in the form of “Say Goodbye” of as the summer approaches.
