Vega – At Least I Don’t Have Ghost Producers

Vega is a DJ/Producer based in Dallas,TX. What’s different about him is he doesn’t conform to one style. He loves all the different sounds in the realm of Electronic Music. His second EP is called At Least I Don’t Have Ghost Producers. He came up with the title one day when he realized that his music may not be on par with the legends he looks up to, but it is HIS music and nobody else’s.

The first tune is called Downtown Skyline and it’s a blistering Bass House tune. It’s named after envisioning the famous Dallas skyline in his head. The second track is called You Betta Work. It’s a groovy House track with a Pop track acapella pitched down. Midnight Drive is the next song and is a Progressive House tune that is reminiscent of the classic sound. The title is inspired by those late night drives where it seems like you’re the only one around with your music.

The 4th track is called Life Is Precious and is a Deep House tune. It’s a reminder that life is wonderful if you think about it. Dynasty is the 5th track on the EP and is a Progressive Trance song. Vega was inspired by the Anjunabeats style so he created a tune which took almost 3 years to finish. The title is inspired by his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. The second to last track is called Searching and is an Uplifting Trance song. He is a big fan of Trance music and made the melody out of random one day. The final tune is called Shake n Bake and it’s a Trap track. Vega wanted to hone his skills and designed the main lead from a YouTube tutorial.

The end result was this loud brass sound that was really good with the beat he made. This 7 track EP showcases the skills Vega has. It also shows that he doesn’t care about sticking to what’s hot but rather what sounds good to him. Take a listen to the EP and explore Vega’s realm!
