Swedish House Mafia Officially Announce Stockholm Show

The moment dance music fans have awaited patiently since 2013 has finally arrived: Swedish House Mafia confirmed that their first show of 2019 will be May 4, 2019 at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm.

The trio famously returned from a five-year hiatus with a surprise set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami in 2018. That show created massive speculation that they would once again tour and release music as the dominant supergroup. That was essentially confirmed as Axwell screamed “This time, it’s Swedish House Mafia for life” as the set came to its conclusion.

In their press conference, broadcasted via Facebook Live in Swedish, the guys discussed the need for change, and hence the breakup in 2013. But, this time around, it appears they will put their side projects to the side to focus fully on SHM. There is new music in the works, though we likely won’t have any idea what it is until next May.

Tickets for the event will be available October 27.
