Paolo Martini & Federico Ambrosi – Destination [Sola]

The next release on Sola comes as a two-track collaboration from Italian artists Paolo Martini and Federico Ambrosi – Destination.

“We’ve always been fans of the original version of ‘I don’t wanna lose your love’ by the historical female trio ‘Emotions’, so some months ago during the lockdown, we decided to make a cover of it. We’re very happy that the track will be released just in time for the summer when the clubs will re-open and we will be able to play it everywhere!” – Paolo Martini.

The EP kicks into gear with I Don’t Wanna Lose Your Love – an inspired fusion of disco and tech that exudes feel-good energy and summertime vibes. A pacy but weighty rolling groove and roaring bassline set the precedent whilst the soul slowly bubbles up progressively from underneath – bringing nothing but good times! The second of the two tracks – Destination – also keeps to the fast and energetic dance floor-ready pace. Acid sequencing and intense synths meet blistering hat grooves and potent kicks that combine with a groovy sub and rippling percs, resulting in an electrifying underground club cut.

Paolo Martini’s career spans over 30 years, with his reputation as DJ bringing him to spin at prestigious clubs throughout Italy and all over Europe. In 2008 Paolo established his own label Paul’s Boutique with his music supported by many of the industry’s biggest names, while releasing in the meantime a few productions and collaborations on great labels such as Hot Creations, Snatch!, Moon Harbour, 8Bit, Saved, Sola, Repopulate Mars and Mother Rec. Federico Ambrosi is a DJ/Producer, born in Verona (Italy). Having already played around Europe and with a recent tour in South America, he is one of the new young Italian artists to keep an eye on.
