Yousef & CamelPhat – April/One Summer [Knee Deep In Sound]

Circus Recordings head honcho, Yousef, and the GRAMMY-nominated duo, CamelPhat team up to deliver the undaunted new AA single ‘April/One Summer’. Landing on one of the biggest labels in dance music, Hot Since 82’s longstanding and much revered, Knee Deep In Sound.

These two huge artists came together for a spellbinding studio session that gave birth to the anthemic single, tailor-made for the club; after CamelPhat joined Yousef for his widely coveted ‘The First Dance’ Circus event in Liverpool earlier this year. Bringing thousands of dancers a blissful glimpse of how dance music can unify us, in a long-awaited moment of freedom back in the club.

‘April’ delivers deep cut kick grooves that span out over an expanse of interlocking percussion patterns and bold, incidental bass hooks that grab you and pull you into the speaker. The rhythms are cast away momentarily, for a harmonious, euphoric passage, which brings us into a state of trance-like ecstasy. Primed to set the dancefloors ablaze when this dynamic new single finally touches down on July 30th.

‘One Summer’ comes through with rumbling bass-tones undulating across spacey pads and a fierce kick. Tremulating leads shift across glitching chords and the track’s centerpiece is an authentic, strummed guitar rhythm that brings a balance between sun-kissed Balearic bliss and brooding, main-room techno; a fusion of sounds that marries and is set to bring extra anthemic moments to sets across the summer and beyond.
