Theoriginal Albanian festival, Kala, returns to the sun-drenched beaches of the Riviera, with the perfect balance between quality line up, excellent location and refreshing holiday experience.In 2018, Kala made waves on the European festival circuit, by offering a unique blend of beach vacation and music festival, establishing itself as the ultimate dance paradise and a sought-after destination for music lovers. With its sun-kissed beaches, top-notch music, and cozy atmosphere, Kala has earned a reputation as a festival hotspot that stands out from the crowd – all without a tent in sight.

This year’s festival promises a full week of unforgettable experiences, including headline DJs playing rare all night sets extending into sunrise, electrifying live shows, up-and-coming selectors, and a roster of holiday and wellness activities to round off a complete summer experience. The lineup additions are packed with heavy-hitters, including Joy Orbison, Daphni, I. Jordan, Paranoid London Hybrid set, Fabio & Grooverider, D.Tiffany and Ciel, just to name a few. Live bands play a major role in increasing the breadth of the musical experience at Kala. This year you can expect to hear funk, disco, afrobeat, and electronic music on a stunning beach stage by legendary afrobeat band Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra, the catchy funk and disco of Harvey Sutherland and a very special festival appearance by Spirit of Sundaze Ensemble, who will be playing their new material as well as reimagining foundational club tracks from the dance music crew’s 20-year history.

On the DJ front, coined to play at this year’s event are Fabio & Grooverider, Channel One Sound System and Willikens & Ivkovic (All Night) who will be adding a new musical dimension to the week, alongside the classic Kala sounds played by the likes of Zakia,Tarzsa, Charlie Dark, Psychemagik, Mafalda and Luke Una. On the clubbier end of the spectrum, Laurine, DJ Koolt, I. Jordan, Ciel with be delivering high octane sets while stage takeovers by Toy Tonics, IsBurning, Secretsundaze and Phonica Records will bring their own unique flavor to the table.

With yoga classes, meditation, gong baths, and beach massages available to soothe the mind and ease weary muscles from dancing, wellness addd to the holiday experience at Kala. Kayaking, pedal boats, paddle boarding, and snorkelling will also be available for anyone who would want to take in the event site’s pristine waters.

Throughout the week, a variety of on-site eateries and bars will keep festival attendees fueled with a variety of delectable Mediterranean cuisine, including plenty of tempting locally grown veggies and fresh fish.

All tickets come with lodging and a wristband for the festival. Numerous accommodations are offered, ranging from luxurious 5* hotels to exotic beach huts, and the majority are accessible by foot from the festival venue.
