Kaz James – Stay [Another Record Label]

Following the remarkable international success of his collaborative anthem White Rabbit alongside Jefferson Airplane and Nick Morgan on Three Six Zero Recordings just two months ago, internationally celebrated DJ, producer and Another Record Label head honcho Kaz James now returns to his own imprint, with the announcement of his incredible new solo offering, Stay. Released via Another Record Label, Stay marks the eagerly-anticipated fourth release on Kaz’s burgeoning imprint, following the critically acclaimed release of Not In Love with Nick Morgan in 2021, Footprints (Kaz James) in April 2022 and In Your Head (Nick Morgan) in November.

A perfectly judged, melodic house cut with the sort of slow-burning groove that we’ve come to know and love from Kaz’s productions, Stay sees the Australian producer give us a replete sense of ‘journey’, as he cuts through a truly rapturous topline with driving, tribal percussion, reflective breaks and epic apex moments. Transporting listeners into his own realm of sonic exploration throughout, Kaz’s infectious soundscapes are pillared by rolling basslines, analog synthesizers and hi-octane atmospheres, which continue to act as a uniquely distinctive point of originality for the LA-based artist.
