Chicago’s Azzecca returns in triumph to Another Rhythm with original track ‘Forget’. Azzecca never takes prisoners, and ‘Forget’ is merciless, setting a spanking pace with multi-layered goodness like rattling drums, a house beat with a breaksy hop in it, twanging teeth-tingling bass stomping all over it, all counterpointed by a female vocal intoning like a mantra, ‘Close your eyes, take my hand, disappear, the world is falling down…’ But you won’t worry about that or anything else when you’re on the dancefloor losing your mind. ‘I started this track in 2021, and was the first time I used my own vocal on a project. After sitting on the shelf for years, unfinished and lacking vision, I revisited it recently with a new bassline in mind and it finally came together.’
