Monegros Desert Festival Announces Complete Lineup for 2024

At the end of July, Monegros Desert Festival will come to life again, transporting its more than 50,000 attendees to a unique audiovisual universe with the promise of leaving an indelible mark for a lifetime. 

With its impressive display of production, sound and impossible and innovative architectures, once again this year, Monegros is committed to giving the most radical, extreme and immersive experience that a festival in the middle of the desert can guarantee. A complete offering in the form of a powerful sound experience of 22 uninterrupted hours of music, through the performances of more than 150 artists and a wide variety of musical genres. Among them, hip-hop and techno stand out in all their variants, as well as dub, reggae, trance, drum n bass and the long-awaited psy trance, which lands in fragatino territory with a new exclusive stage dedicated to this genre.

Juan Arnau points out that “the commitment we make for each new edition of Monegros demonstrates the commitment we have with our audience. For us it is a pleasure to receive them and give the best of ourselves in the more than 22 frenetic hours in which the festival takes place. “Spending all our creativity and putting it on stage is always both a challenge and a joy.” Furthermore, Cruz Arnau also “we always try to expand the range of musical genres and this year we are especially excited about the addition of a new stage dedicated exclusively to the psy trance genre. Both our parents, my brother and I have spent a lifetime traveling to discover new genres, artists and festivals with essence. When we discovered psy trance, we fell in love with its entire essence. Without a doubt, it is a bet that is being very well received and the new space could not be more in line.” 

Just a couple of weeks ago, MDF surprised everyone with a shocking poster preview, revealing more than 80 names that made up 70% of its line-up. Now, the long-awaited moment has come to reveal the remaining 30% of this mind-blowing journey through various sounds of rave culture.   Among the artists joining to complete the incandescent Aragonese festival proposal are the British duo formed by Saul Milton and Will Kennard, Chase & Status , recently awarded the coveted “Producer Of The Year” award at the BRIT Awards. A true reference in the electronic music scene of the United Kingdom, which will land in MDF to delight the public with a live set based on mixes of breakbeat, dubstep and drum and bass.

With techno as our flag, we continue to incorporate hip hop, drum n bass, dub, house, disco and many more; with the great novelty of psy trance, one of the most popular sounds in the world”, comments the Music Director, Victor de la Serna. 

Monegros would not be Monegros, without the contribution of national hip hop talent, which is why the Madrid tandem Natos and Waor return with their frenetic live performance as a request from all fans.  Other news to highlight is the debut performance of Astrix . The most important psytrance DJ in the world is ready to set the sands of the Aragonese desert on fire with his beats. 

With a softer and underground tone, we find the charismatic house producer, Dj Tennis . A veteran who debuts in Fraga in 2024 and is ready to deliver sound bombs in keeping with his legend. The versatility of the Englishman Daniel Pearce aka Eats Everything, the unmistakable vibe of Chelina Mahuhutu , the talent on the plates of the German tINI , the liveliness of James Hype , the freshness of Traumer ‘s techno , the skill of the vocational musician José Rodriguez and the multitalented Fox Stevenson and Hugel.
