Magazine Open-Air Presents – Amelie Lens B2B Sara Landry: The Pre-Party Playlist
Magazine Open-Air is an outdoor summer event series and roofless dancefloor located on the Greenwich Peninsula, on the Magazine London site. Set on the banks of the River Thames, the venue offers direct views of the Canary Wharf skyline, the River Thames, The Millenium Dome and also overhead plans from London City airport. It’s also created and produced by Broadwick Live (the team behind Printworks and Drumsheds).
Amelie Lens is a Belgian techno powerhouse whose unrelenting passion, signature sound, and global EXHALE movement have cemented her as one of the genre’s leading figures. Alongside her, Sara Landry brings dark, driving, divinely feminine industrial techno with unapologetic force. For a taste of what’s to come ahead of their exclusive B2B, listen below:
Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens – One Mind (Original Mix): Combining hard-hitting peak-time techno, aggressive acid lines, and trance elements on their collaborative One Mind EP. To emphasize unity, subtle and intimate spoken-word whispers from both Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens are layered directly into the mix.
Sara Landry, Alt8 – Havana Bounce (Original Mix): Shifts away from standard, industrial hard techno towards an energetic, 160 BPM Latin-infused hard dance and neo-rave style. While the arrangement bounces, the low-end is anchored by Landry’s signature heavy, saturated hard-techno kicks that carry massive sub-bass weight without masking the mid-range groove.
Argy, Anyma (ofc), Son of Son – Voices In My Head (Amelie Lens Remix): strips away the lush, cinematic atmosphere of the Anyma, Argy, and Son of Son original, transforming it into an aggressive, fast-paced, and uncompromising peak-time hard techno weapon.
Sara Landry, LEGZDINA – Pressure (Original Mix): a genre-defying, cross-over weapon that fuses 160 BPM hard techno with aggressive hip-hop and rap elements. The track shifts effortlessly between dancefloor destruction and structured, vocal-led arrangement blocks.
Amelie Lens – Breathe (Original Mix): The track takes clear structural cues from tech-trance and classic hard trance, prioritizing high-speed momentum and dancefloor urgency over slow-burning industrial tension. At the track’s core is an infectious, looped female vocal chanting the hypnotic phrase, “Push the time back, pull me closer…”.
