Clockwork Previews “Surge” Remix EP
American Producer Clockwork previewed the remixes for his song “Surge” with vocalist Wynter Gordon. This remix EP has the potential to be one of the biggest set of remixes this year. Clockwork recruits Deorro, Riggi & Piros, Charlie Darker, and Tony Romera. If you haven’t heard of these guys yet, you need to step your EDM game up.
Deorro gives us an amazing Melbourne bounce remix with an unbelievable melody, I really like everything Deorro’s been putting out lately. Next, Riggi & Piros. These guys have been getting huge of late, with support from Hardwell and more. This is my favorite remix in the EP. They put their distinctive big room sound on an already banging track with a calm melody that really shows the vocals. Third is Charlie Darker, one of the most talented remixers right now. Charlie gives us a huge electro tune, with a fantastic progressive melody, another one of my favorites. Lastly, the always amazing Tony Romera. Romera delivers with his signature grinding electro/minimal sound in addition to a chill and relaxed melody. Ever since “Pandor” I’ve been following Tony Romera’s stuff.
I love every single remix in this EP, they’re all mind-blowing. Clockwork picked some of the most talented guys producing right now. He also really diversified the remixes. Big room, Melbourne Bounce, and electro. The remixes are out August 16th so be sure to buy them when they’re released, I know I will. You can preview all of the remixes below. Enjoy!
